Please visit the submission topics page for more information on the conference themes.

The official language of the conference is English, and all submissions must be original work. Please visit the submission page for document templates, full instructions and online submission.

Panel sessions provide a forum for the exploration of a hot topic among expert panel members and between the panel and the audience. Working Groups

Working Groups Overview

Working Groups are groups of 5-10 people with a common interest related to the conference theme, selected on the basis of their qualifications, which meet to work during ITiCSE 2008. Two page working group proposals are invited from potential leaders, and will be evaluated on the level of perceived interest in the suggested topic and the leader(s) qualifications.

Accepted working groups will be open for membership as advertised on the Important Dates page. Abstracts of accepted working groups will be published in the conference proceedings.

Working groups will commence activities electronically in April and will convene just before and during the conference to complete their deliberations. Each working group will present their interim results to the conference attendees, and after the conference submit a final report. The final reports will be reviewed and, if accepted, published in the SIGCSE Bulletin and the ACM digital library.

Questions? Please contact Raymond Lister or Raquel Martínez, ITiCSE 2008 Working Groups coordinators
